A familiar film remains part of Burcho’s creative thinking. In a July 2026 interview with Iravunk, Razmik Mansourian discussed his wish to revisit The Mechanics of Happiness with Alla Tumanian, more than four decades after the original chapter of his screen career.

He described organizational work as ongoing at the time of the interview. That makes this a glimpse of an artistic ambition, rather than a confirmed release announcement: the interview gives no premiere date.

The conversation also returns to the craft behind his performances. Mansourian explains that improvisation has long been part of his approach, while respecting the director’s requirements.
