What keeps an artist connected to home across distance? Burcho’s appearance on Alpha News’ Ethnic Code offers his own answer through music, memory and a sense of responsibility to the Armenian community.

In the interview, Razmik Mansourian describes directing concert proceeds toward needs in his homeland. He also speaks about his wish to sing again in Yerevan’s opera house and Philharmonic, as well as in Gyumri and Vanadzor, which he refers to by their older names, Leninakan and Kirovakan. These are personal hopes expressed in the conversation, not an announced tour.

The interview originally appeared on December 31, 2023. Alpha News republished accompanying coverage in Armenian and Russian on January 7, 2026. The original video and both language versions offer complementary ways to explore this chapter of Burcho’s public conversation.
